The Retreat

Nine days inside the most biodiverse forest on Earth

The Osa Peninsula holds less than 0.001% of the world's surface and yet contains 2.5% of all global biodiversity. The primary forest here is not a backdrop — it is a living, intelligent field that participates actively in the healing work. You cannot remain unchanged by it.

This retreat sits one hour's walk from the nearest road. There is no electricity. No phone signal. No separation from the forest. The schedule is structured around the rhythms of the jungle itself — dawn chorus, midday heat, afternoon rains, night sounds. The forest teaches you how to listen before anything else is taught.

Water is the element of this retreat. Wild rivers, Pacific tidal pools, night forest rain — all become living practice spaces where the Water element teachings are not learned but felt, absorbed, embodied. You will come home different in a way that is difficult to name and impossible to forget.

What You Will Experience

The Living Curriculum of the Forest

💧

Water Element Healing

Deep healing work with the Water element in wild rivers, jungle streams, and Pacific tidal pools. The Osa is one of the few places where fresh water and ocean water meet in ancient forest — creating an extraordinary energetic field.

🌙

Night Forest Ceremonies

Evening ceremonies guided by the sounds of the living jungle. At night, the forest comes alive with a different intelligence. Learning to work with darkness, sound, and the unseen forces of the primary forest is central to this retreat.

🌿

Plant Communication

Structured practices for entering into communication with the plants of the primary forest — not symbolically, but energetically and directly. The Osa has plant species found nowhere else on Earth, some of which carry extraordinary healing intelligence.

Partner Healing Sessions

Full facilitated healing sessions in the forest clearing. Each participant both gives and receives. The forest holds the container — the heightened energetic field of primary jungle amplifies everything that happens within it.

🔋

Off-Grid Living

No electricity. No phone signal. No separation from the natural world. The absence of digital life is not incidental — it is part of the practice. The nervous system recalibrates within 72 hours. What becomes possible after that cannot be described in advance.

🌊

Pacific Tidal Ceremonies

At certain tides, the Pacific coast of the Osa reveals tidal pools and isolated beaches accessible only on foot. These spaces become ceremony sites — elemental practice at the exact boundary between land and ocean, forest and sea.

"In primary forest, you cannot remain a separate observer. The intelligence of the jungle enters through the skin, through the breath, through the soles of the feet. After three days, the forest is no longer outside you."

A Glimpse Inside

The Daily Rhythm of the Retreat

The structure follows the forest's own timing — not a clock. This is a sample. Every retreat is a living thing and adapts to the group, the season, and what the forest invites.

Dawn
5:00am

Morning Gathering in the Forest

Before sunrise, in the pre-dawn forest. Breath work, stillness, energy gathering from the living field. The dawn chorus of the Osa is a practice space unlike any other.

Morning
7–10am

Forest Walk & Water Practice

Guided walk to river, waterfall, or tidal pool. Water element practices, energy reading, and plant communication work in the field.

Midday
11am–1pm

Teachings & Integration

In-depth teaching on the day's theme. Rest during peak midday heat — rest in the jungle is itself a practice, not downtime.

Afternoon
3–6pm

Partner Healing Work

Supervised partner sessions — energy diagnosis, clearing, facilitation. Afternoon in the Osa often brings rain; the forest during rain is its own kind of ceremony.

Night
8–10pm

Night Ceremony

Fire, forest, or water ceremony depending on the phase of the retreat. Night work in primary jungle — guided, structured, held. The sounds of the forest are the music.

Day 9

Closing Ceremony & Return

Full closing ceremony at the Pacific shore. Each participant receives a personal transmission and integration framework before the walk back to the road.
