The Retreat

Ten days on Panchasee — sacred mountain above Pokhara

Panchasee mountain (1895m) is one of Nepal's sacred peaks — less known than Everest, infinitely more alive for the purposes of energy work. The Gurung and Magar peoples have held it as a site of spiritual power for millennia. The Annapurna range rises to the north. The Pokhara valley lies below. The sky here is enormous and the silence is absolute.

This is not a trekking holiday with morning yoga. This is a complete energetic immersion — structured, ceremonial, and guided at every stage by a facilitator who has worked in the Himalayan traditions for over 15 years. The mountain is not a backdrop. It is the teacher. The thin air, the cold, the altitude, the silence — all of these are the curriculum.

Each day follows an ancient Himalayan rhythm: early morning energy gathering before dawn, midday practice in the mountain field, afternoon teachings, evening fire ceremony. After ten days, you have not visited the Himalayas. The Himalayas have entered you.

What the Mountain Teaches

🏔

Earth Element — Foundation

Practices for grounding and accumulating vital force from the mountain itself. Stone sitting, earth breathing, barefoot walking on sacred ground. Learning to draw energy upward from the living rock of Panchasee into the body.

💧

Water Element — Flow

The glacial springs of Panchasee carry a distinct energetic signature. Water practices at these sources — drinking, immersion, and direct energetic transmission — form the second pillar. Water holds memory; the mountain water holds the memory of ten thousand years of prayer.

🔥

Fire Element — Vedic Ceremony

Evening fire ceremonies in the ancient Vedic tradition. The fire is not symbolic — it is a living presence called forth as a healing intelligence. Participants learn to work with fire as a direct energetic ally for purification, transmission, and blessing.

🌬

Air Element — Pranayama

At 1895m, the breath becomes the primary practice. Himalayan pranayama sequences — some dating to pre-Buddhist Bon tradition — open the energy channels and amplify sensitivity in ways that take months of lowland practice to achieve. Altitude is the teacher.

Ether Element — Silence

The fifth element is space itself. The Himalayan tradition holds silence as the highest practice — not the absence of noise but the presence of a vast, living stillness. Days of intentional silence on the mountain reveal what cannot be heard in ordinary life.

🙏

Partner Healing Sessions

Full facilitated healing sessions at altitude where each participant both gives and receives. The mountain field amplifies the work. Energy diagnosis, clearing, and transmission practice — the technical foundation applied in the most powerful natural container on Earth.

"The mountain does not teach you with words. It teaches you with silence, with cold, with the thin air that reminds you how little you actually need. After ten days on Panchasee, what remains is what you truly are."

Ten Days on Panchasee

The Shape of the Retreat

The 12-day structure is shaped by the Shipibo tradition itself, adapted over many years. The rhythm alternates between ceremony nights, integration days, and teaching days. The plants guide as much as the facilitator does.

Dawn
5:00am

Morning Gathering in the Forest

Before sunrise, in the pre-dawn forest. Breath work, stillness, energy gathering from the living field. The dawn chorus of the Osa is a practice space unlike any other.

Morning
7–10am

Forest Walk & Water Practice

Guided walk to river, waterfall, or tidal pool. Water element practices, energy reading, and plant communication work in the field.

Midday
11am–1pm

Teachings & Integration

In-depth teaching on the day's theme. Rest during peak midday heat — rest in the jungle is itself a practice, not downtime.

Afternoon
3–6pm

Partner Healing Work

Supervised partner sessions — energy diagnosis, clearing, facilitation. Afternoon in the Osa often brings rain; the forest during rain is its own kind of ceremony.

Night
8–10pm

Night Ceremony

Fire, forest, or water ceremony depending on the phase of the retreat. Night work in primary jungle — guided, structured, held. The sounds of the forest are the music.

Day 9

Closing Ceremony & Return

Full closing ceremony at the Pacific shore. Each participant receives a personal transmission and integration framework before the walk back to the road.
